How it works
Moisture management without constant watering.
MAG® is hygroscopic—it attracts and retains moisture from the surrounding air. That moisture adds weight to fine footing particles so they are less likely to become airborne.
Unlike routine watering, the dry flakes remain in the footing and continue working. Under ideal conditions, one pound can hold up to four times its weight in water.

Dry flakes versus liquid products
MAG® is supplied in dry flake form so the active magnesium chloride can be distributed evenly through the footing. Products sold as liquid dust-control treatments have different compositions and concentrations and should not be treated as equivalent.
